As a Warehouse Lead, you are responsible for designating the daily activities of the warehouse to the team. The Warehouse Lead ensures safe, efficient storage and retrieval of product and supplies, accurate receiving of raw material, and/or accurate shipping of finished goods. Essential job functions and duties include, but are not limited to: • Assist with team pre-shift meetings/huddles. • Assist with Department training and implementation of new technologies. • Train, coach, and develop teammates with department and company policies. • Designates daily warehouse activities from Receiving, Storing, Picking, and Shipping. • Identify any safety concerns. • Manage Kanban inventory reports. • Ensuring that materials and/or products are clearly marked and labeled for tracking and identification. • Ensuring products are safely stored in warehouse manually and with forklift. • Receive, count and ensure integrity of Raw materials, packaging components and supplies. • Issue material for kits. • Ability to train other employees • Warehouse shipping and receiving. • Segregation of allergen materials. • Knowledge of UPS, FedEx and other delivery processes and procedures including the ability to ship and receive packages and materials. • Process material requisition forms (F035). • Process material destructions. • Operates company vehicle to transfer materials between buildings. • Returning materials back to their proper location manually, with pallet jack, with truck and/or forklift. • Delivering packages manually, with pallet jack or with forklift to appropriate areas/departments. • Limited driving Company vehicle/truck to other locations. • Vehicle inspection checklist. • Ensuring Shipping/Receiving and return to stock log books are current. • Responding in a timely manner to requests by other departments. • Following established department SOP’s and cGMP regulations. • Perform bin transfers and allocation. • Follow FIFO and RTS’s procedures and protocols. • Verify all necessary documents are submitted to Receiving Clerk. • Creation of Packing Slip, BOL, Airway Bill, etc. • Outgoing shipment checklist. • Familiarization with 'ABC' classification. • Familiarization with cycle count procedures and frequencies. • Process Form F012 - Material Destruction as needed. • Process form F032 - Nonconforming Report. • Process form F033 - Rejection Report. • Create and Process Form F012 - Material Destruction as needed. • Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations. • Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner. • Perform other job duties related to the job, as assigned by management. Qualifications Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate. • Two (2) or more years of work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. • Two (2) or more years experience of; sit-down, stand-up reach, electric pallet jack, and aerial platform; Preferred • Ability to read, write and comprehend English instructions, correspondence, and emails. • Leadership skills – ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization. • Ability to present information with team, customers, delivery companies, and other employees of the organization. • Strong training abilities and team development. • Basic motivational skill that will encourage team growth. • Any combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully perform the job. Required Licenses/Certifications • Current forklift permit. • Valid driver’s license. • Clean DMV record. Work Environment: • Routinely required to climb stairs to access material. • Required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time during work shifts. • Routinely required to stoop, bend, kneel, lift, reach, pull, push, and tilt object in the performance of job function. • Requires the essential use of hands, speech, eyesight, and hearing. • Lifting limitations for this position: 50 lbs. May have to manipulate heavier containers. • Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral and depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus as needed. • Noise levels for most work environments can range from low to moderate.
