4+ years in data analysis and reporting, 3+ years with SQL and data transformation tools, 1+ year managing projects, plus preferred skills in advanced visualization and predictive modeling.
As the Associate Manager for Subscriptions Business Intelligence, you’ll drive data reporting and analytics for subscription management. You’ll develop self-service models, reporting automation, and support root cause analysis. You’ll link multiple data sources and use reporting and data tools to support operational strategy. In this role, you’ll manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Relationship building and the ability to develop reporting and analytics are important to success. This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. What you’ll do • Develop systematic and repeatable reporting and self-service solutions using SQL, data modeling, and visualization tools, while removing capacity challenges from our corporate partners • Create dashboards to be reported to executives and business leaders • Identify system defects that impact customer contracts as well as work with system support teams to remediate impacted plans • Act as a subject matter expert in data analytics to make recommendations to the business and influence technology teams • Create and maintain the standard operating procedure for reporting requests • Impact cost savings and efficiencies to the organization through guidance and data to influence future decisions Basic Qualifications • 4 years of experience in data analysis, modeling, reporting or other similar business functions • 3 years of data wrangling and transformation experience using SQL Assistant, SSAS, BigQuery and Alteryx • 1 year of experience managing small to mid-size projects, including timelines and communication to leadership Preferred qualifications • 3 years of advanced data visualization experience using PowerBI, Tableau, Looker Studio • 2 years of predictive and statistical modeling using IBM SPSS, Python or R • Expertise in Excel and experience teaching complex data models What’s in it for you We’re committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
