Sign-On Bonus: $150 Position Summary: We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Preschool Substitute Teacher to support our early childhood education program. The substitute teacher will provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children ages 3–5 in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This role requires flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young children. Key Responsibilities: • Follow daily lesson plans and classroom routines as provided by the regular teacher. • Create a warm, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. • Supervise and engage children in developmentally appropriate activities, including play, art, music, and storytelling. • Support children’s social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development. • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom. • Monitor and ensure children’s safety during indoor and outdoor activities. • Communicate effectively and respectfully with children, staff, and families. • Report any concerns, incidents, or injuries to the director or lead teacher. • Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and student needs. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Knowledge of child development principles and positive behavior management strategies. • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively participate in classroom and playground activities. • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. • US Citizen Schedule and Compensation: • Schedule: As needed, based on teacher absences (may include short- or long-term assignments). • Hours: Typically between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., depending on center schedule. • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
