Responsibilities We are looking for a dynamic professional to serve as both the Manager of Business Analysts and a Senior Business Analyst. This hybrid role combines strategic leadership with hands-on analysis, requiring someone who can lead a team while actively contributing to business analysis efforts. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, analytical thinker, and collaborative partner across business and technical teams. Key Responsibilities: Leadership Responsibilities: • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts to ensure high performance and professional growth. • Establish and maintain best practices, standards, and tools for business analysis across the technology organization. • Ensure consistency and quality in the team's output, including how user stories and acceptance criteria are written. • Drive continuous improvement in business analysis practices, tools, and methodology. Individual Contributor Responsibilities: • Conduct gap analysis and identify problems, opportunities and solutions. • Support value stream planning, execution, and delivery by working closely with cross-functional teams including IT, product, operations, and finance. • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to elicit requirements, communicate findings and gain align with the stakeholders. • Translate business needs into user stories and tickets. • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions. • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business expectations. Qualifications Preferred Knowledge: • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. • Strong understanding of business processes, data analysis, and project management. • Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Power BI, Miro). • Exceptional Communication (Oral, Written, and Presentation) skills amplified by a "Get it Done" attitude supported through the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment. • High degree of organization, individual initiative, personal accountability and comfort in working in a high paced delivery environment and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines effectively. • Proactive, self-starter with the balance of technical knowledge and insurance business acumen is required. • Established background in launching software or services in partnership with development teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles is required. • Strong understanding of business process modeling, data analysis, and requirements gathering. Salary Range $77,762.70-$180,082.10 with performance-based bonus potential. The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the U.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training.
