Full Description

All applicants must hold a license to practice in the state of Maryland. Bender Counseling at Maryland Therapy Collective is a telehealth private practice that serves clients in Maryland. New therapists will be given one on one support during the onboarding process including a one hour one-on-one training with how to use the EHR system, assistance building their caseload, and included supervision from a board-approved supervisor. As a therapist working for Bender Counseling at MTC, you will be able to create your own schedule, work remotely, have flexible hours, and have the ability to see clients with Cigna, United Healthcare, Carefirst BCBS, and private pay. There is also an opportunity to start, lead and create groups. Responsibilities • This position is for someone who can see clients that are in the Outpatient Mental Health setting via telehealth • Perform clinical services, including intakes and therapeutic interventions such as individual therapy, family therapy and crisis intervention. • Maintain and complete service documentation such as progress notes • Knowledge of professional counseling principles, methodology, and ethics of human psychosocial development within the family, community, and culture. • Familiarity with brief therapy theories/techniques and therapeutic processes. • Understanding of evidence-based practices. • Knowledge of health and social issues impacting diverse clients and their well-being. • Ability to interact effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary health care team, identify and utilize community resources and communicate appropriately with diverse patient populations. Qualifications • Hold a Masters's Degree in Counseling or related field • Hold an active License in Maryland that is also in good standing • 2 years experience (for LG'S internship is included experience) • Experience with diagnosing using the DSM-5 Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Professional development assistance Application Question(s): • What hours are you looking to see clients during? • What size caseload are you looking for? • What ages are you comfortable working with?
