Are you the next Ubique Group Employee? Come be a part of our dynamic team! Ubique Group is a digital-forward, consumer-driven powerhouse with an expansive portfolio of furniture brands. For over 20 years, we’ve built multiple brands from inception to success, offering a wide range of furniture solutions that balance form, function, and style. We don’t just keep a finger on the pulse of the marketplace — we anticipate it, transforming the typical point-and-click shopping experience into an inspired, rewarding consumer journey. At Ubique Group, we’re more than a company; we’re a community of passionate, hardworking, and supportive people who believe in our business and in one another. We champion individual strengths, value the power of the team, and extend that commitment to our families and communities. About the Role: The Ecommerce Account Manager – Marketplace & Omnichannel Retail is responsible for managing and growing Ubique Group’s online retail business across a portfolio of major ecommerce partners. This role is highly autonomous and requires a strong mix of analytical capability, strategic assortment thinking, and operational excellence. The manager will own both day-to-day account execution and long-term sales strategy, including content optimization, assortment planning, brand positioning, and performance-driven decision-making. While relationship-building is important, the emphasis is on data-driven ecommerce management rather than traditional sales. A successful candidate is comfortable operating independently, thrives in a fast-paced digital retail environment, and consistently drives growth through hands-on management of content, pricing inputs, branded experiences, and KPI performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Account Management & Channel Ownership * Serve as the primary owner for assigned ecommerce accounts. * Manage assortment strategy, item lifecycle, and visibility across digital shelves. * Conduct weekly account performance reviews, identifying risks, trends, and growth opportunities. * Maintain strong working relationships with merchant teams when required, while operating with high independence. Content & Digital Shelf Optimization * Ensure all product detail pages meet retailer content standards, including imagery, copy, A+ content, attributes, and taxonomy. * Continuously monitor competitive content and rankings to inform improvements. * Partner with internal content teams to improve conversion through enhancements to digital brand presence. Data-Driven Sales & Performance Management * Analyze key ecommerce metrics—conversion rates, traffic, margin, search placement, profitability, return rates, and inventory performance. * Build and manage forecasts, revenue targets, and growth plans for each account. * Leverage sales data, consumer insights, and category trends to make strategic recommendations. Assortment Strategy & Portfolio Planning * Identify gaps and opportunities within each retailer’s assortment, recommending adds, removals, or reconfigurations. * Ensure assortment decisions align with brand objectives, category trends, and marketplace competitiveness. * Support the launch of new products, ensuring smooth onboarding, content readiness, and early performance tracking. Operational Excellence * Navigate retailer and marketplace portals for item setup, compliance, promotion submissions, and issue resolution. * Monitor and resolve operational challenges including inventory constraints, delistings, lost Buy Box, suppressed listings, or compliance warnings. * Maintain accurate records of account performance, catalog changes, and pricing inputs. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Work closely with marketing, content, pricing, supply chain, and product teams to support account needs. * Partner with internal analytics teams to create reports and dashboards supporting performance visibility. * Align brand, promotional, and product initiatives with internal strategy. Work Style & Leadership * Operate as an independent thinker capable of setting direction and making informed decisions. * Prioritize effectively across multiple accounts with minimal oversight. * Bring a continuous improvement mindset to tools, processes, and reporting. QUALIFICATIONS: Required * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Ecommerce, or related field. * 3–5+ years of experience managing ecommerce retail accounts, ideally across big-box and marketplace environments. * Demonstrated success managing accounts such as Best Buy, Target, Walmart.com, Amazon 3P, or similar retailers. * Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Sheets and comfort working with large datasets. * Digital-first mindset with an understanding of ecommerce KPIs, digital merchandising, and online consumer behavior. * Ability to operate independently and make strategic decisions based on data. * Excellent communication and time-management skills. Preferred * Experience with multiple retailer portals (Walmart Item 360, Target Partners Online, Best Buy SAP/Item workflows, Amazon Seller Central, Mirakl platforms, etc.). * Experience managing 3P marketplace strategies and brand enforcement. * Knowledge of digital SEO, search ranking strategies, and ecommerce content optimization. * Familiarity with retail media platforms (Roundel, Walmart Connect, Amazon Ads). Physical Requirements: * Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work. * Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds. Benefits: We offer a competitive benefit package that includes: * Fully remote position. * Major medical, dental, and vision benefits available day one — no waiting period. * Company-paid life insurance and Employee Assistance Program. * 401(k) with company match. * Employee discount on Ubique Group products. * Free office chair for remote employees. * Ubique Cares employee-led organization hosting monthly and quarterly engagement activities with fun and giveaways. * 9 paid holidays + 1 floating holiday, and up to 13 accrued PTO days per year.
