Seeking Full-Time Website Director to join our team Remote | U.S.-Based | Eastern Time Zone Do you believe a high-performing website requires smart strategy, strong UX, and data-driven decision-making? The Website Director will lead the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of various client websites and associated digital properties. This role involves defining the overall web strategy, managing a cross-functional team of developers, UX/UI designers, and coordinators and ensuring the website is secure, high-performing, and effectively meets performance metrics for engagement, traffic, and conversions. Salary Range: $110,000-$130,000 Key Responsibilities Website Strategy: • Develop and implement website strategies aligned with client objectives and overall marketing, communications, and business objectives. • Utilize market research, industry trends, and client feedback to inform strategic decisions. Team Management and Project Oversight: • Manage in-house web developers and UX/UI designers, as well as freelance UX/UI designers and coordinators, to ensure technical quality and efficient resource use. • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of website projects alongside a Project Manager, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Client Relationships and Business Development: • Serve as the primary point of contact for website projects, maintaining strong client relationships and effectively communicating project updates, milestones, and deliverables. • Anticipate client needs and address any concerns promptly to ensure client satisfaction. • Create client-facing presentation decks for website projects. • Develop scopes of work for new and existing clients in consultation with the Operations team. • Assist with creation of new business proposals, attend prospective client interviews, and follow up meetings. User Experience (UX) & Web User Interface (UI) Design: • Manage UX/UI designers (in-house and freelance) to define information architecture, oversee design standards, and implement improvements to the website user’s experience based on research (primary/secondary) and performance metrics. SEO & SEM: • Implement SEO and SEM best practices to improve organic visibility and work with cross-collaborative teams to support campaigns and other initiatives that involve digital platforms. Performance and Analytics: • Work closely with the Research and Strategy team to monitor and analyze key performance metrics for website projects using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and analyze user behavior and metrics. • Use data-driven insights to optimize site performance, drive traffic, and engagement. Quality Assurance/ Security & Compliance • Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on digital deliverables to ensure accuracy, functionality, and alignment with client expectations. Implement feedback loops and continuous improvement processes to enhance project outcomes. • Ensure the website complies with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., accessibility standards like WCAG, data protection, GDPR, hosting, etc.) and recommend robust security measures to protect against breaches. Your Qualifications • Proven experience (5+ years) in digital marketing, website project management, or related roles within a creative agency or similar environment. • Experience with CMS platforms is required. WordPress is preferred. • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels. • Proficiency in project management tools and digital marketing platforms. • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for driving innovation in digital marketing. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. • Familiarity with best practices in SEO, SEM, and UX design/testing is preferred.
