Submit your completed application and any supporting documents via: Email to BCS Human Resources, or Mail your application packet to: Bellevue Christian School Attn: Human Resources 1701 98th Ave. NE Clyde Hill, WA 98004 After School Program Manager After School Program Manager Mack Elementary & Three Points Elementary Schools | Woodinville, WA Working Hours: Part-Time, 2:45-6:15pm Monday-Friday Salary: between $21.61 – $25.34 per hour, depending on experience Job Summary: The After School Program (ASP) manager will have overall responsibility for the design and implementation of BCS’s ASP program. As the After School Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the educational experience of our students by planning, implementing, and overseeing a wide range of after-school activities. You will be responsible for coordinating various programs, recruiting, and training staff, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. Your creativity, organization, and passion for providing students with opportunities for personal growth and development will be essential in this role. Key Responsibilities: Program Development: • Develop and implement a wide range of engaging after-school activities program that aligns with the interests and needs of students. • Create a yearly calendar of activities and events, considering both academic and recreational options. Staff Recruitment and Training: • Recruit, hire, and train a team of qualified activity leads and helpers. • Provide ongoing support and guidance for staff. Safety and Supervision: • Establish and enforce safety protocols and guidelines for all activities and events. • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. • If not on campus and the lead is on campus, the program manager will be on call from 2:45-6:15. Student Supervision and Engagement • Actively supervise students indoors and outdoors; remain attentive and always maintain safety. • Welcome and manage all students not picked up immediately after school, including those staying for aftercare or transitioning to enrichment classes. • Build relationships with students, promote group cohesion, and foster a respectful and inclusive environment. • Encourage positive play, help students’ problem-solve, and support social-emotional development. Communication and Promotion: • Communicate program offerings, schedules, and updates to students, parents, and the school community. • Develop marketing materials to promote the program and attract new participants. Evaluation and Improvement: • Monitor the effectiveness of activities and collect feedback from participants to continually improve the program. • Make data-driven decisions to enhance the quality of offerings. Collaboration: • Collaborate with school administration to ensure alignment with academic goals and school values. Additional Details: • Must work in a manner satisfactory to supervisor. • Use tact and courtesy when dealing with parents, students, teachers, and administrators. Work Requirements: • Ability to speak before groups of people with poise, voice control and confidence • Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, with the potential of extended periods of standing. • Occasional bending as needed • Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds) may be needed. • Reliable vehicle needed to travel between locations (5-20 miles)
