Full Description

This role collaborates in the strategy and definition of data center–specific solutions, translating market needs and technology trends into clear product requirements and development priorities. The position works closely with global teams, regional stakeholders, and major OEM and chip manufacturers to ensure alignment on emerging cooling architectures and application demands, including advanced direct-to-chip and two-phase cooling. This position maintains the product needs pipeline, guides strategic initiatives, and serves as the central point of coordination for urgent product adaptations. The Global Data Center Technology Manager will be part of the Global Data Center Team. The position will report to the Global Data Center Application Manager and works collaboratively with the Lead PM Data Centers. What You'll Do Owns the definition and documentation of requirements for data center–focused solutions, ensuring alignment with fast-paced, evolving market needs and customer demands. Maintains and prioritizes the product needs list and associated development project portfolio. Builds and sustains deep insight into future cooling applications and architectures, including two-phase direct-to-chip cooling and related technologies. Own the relationship and research execution with ES2 universities; coordination with Belimo Research Department as needed. Works closely with the Global Data Center Product Manager to support long-term OEM collaboration and strategic alignment. Serves as the primary liaison for global regions regarding urgent product needs, adaptations, and escalation support. Coordinates with global PM and regional Business Lines to ensure visibility, alignment, and communication around development priorities. Chief technical voice of Belimo to major chip technology partners (e.g., NVIDIA, AMD, Intel) to anticipate trends and align solution direction. Collaborate with and support the Global Data Center Application Manager as needed Who You Are • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred. • 10 Years of proven track record in consulting engineering, data center design/operations, or applicable experience in the HVAC or related technical field. • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • Strong organizational, inter-personal, and negotiation skills. • Strong communications and presentation skills. • Proficient in Excel, Word, and other computer skills. • Travel requirements of position is approximately 15% Who We Are Belimo is the global market leader in the development, production, and marketing of field devices for the energy-efficient control of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The base pay for this position ranges from $130,000 -$160,000 with a target performance bonus of 30% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
