Job Summary: This is a full time position located in our Production and Order Fulfillment facility in Cornelius, NC. From this location, all global supplier receipts and customer orders are processed. This position is key to assuring customer satisfaction through on time delivery commitments and quality and accuracy of product delivery with focus of improving our logistic processes through LEAN principles. This is an active warehouse role requiring candidate be able to lift 35lbs, as well being very proficient with computer systems such as Microsoft Office and various shipping software. Exceptional attention to detail is required with effective organizational, communication, time management and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: Processes outgoing international and domestic shipments using xCarrier (multi-carrier shipping software) and X3 (ERP software). Checks details of shipments and communicates with order/planner coordinator and customer service team to ensure accuracy of information and shipping requirements. Coordinates closely with Export personnel to assure compliance to required documentation. Coordinates with carriers and freight forwarders to assure timely pick and transport requirements. Proactively communicates with team to quickly resolve shipping issues as they arise. Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables. Collaborate and communicate with shipping specialists, purchasing, customer service representatives and service providers and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products. Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Proactively communicates with operation team to quickly resolve receiving issues as they arise.Works well under pressure and maintains self-composure and integrity. Acts as a great team player, remaining open to support in all Shipping, Receiving and Operations roles as customer needs dictate. Ensures shipping supplies are well stocked. Maintains clean and safe work area. Remains flexible and prepared for changes to schedule, particularly to support month/quarter end high volume periods. Partner with customer service representatives, purchasing, and entire Operations team to improve our logistic processes through LEAN principles focusing our customer experience and on time delivery expectations. Required Skills and Experience Proficient Microsoft office experience with strong computer efficiency. Experience in Sage X3, SAP ERP and shipping software, xCarrier preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, solid foundation of customer care and relations with excellent talent for using strategies to improve our customer experience from logistics point of view.
