General Description: The Associate Director, Global Medical Affairs Omnichannel Digital Engagement Lead will be responsible for leading the strategy, governance, and the development of omnichannel Scientific Communications and digital assets. The Associate Director will collaborate with Medical Affairs stakeholders and partners to prioritize and create high-quality, evidence-based medical content for external scientific exchange via our digital channels and omnichannel platforms. This is a remote-based role with the potential to lead people. Essential Functions of the job: Under the leadership of the Director, GMA Omnichannel and Digital Content Lead, the GMA Omnichannel Digital Engagement Lead will be responsible for: Developing a comprehensive digital strategy and tactical plans aligned with the educational needs of HCPs while achieving BeOne Medical Affairs objectives. Understanding customer communication preferences, regulatory compliance, and digital communication best practices. Collaborating with cross-functional teams—such as Global, Regional, and Country Medical Affairs, Commercial, Corporate Communications, Insights and Analytics, and Global Technology Solutions—to execute an integrated omnichannel strategy and ensure consistent messaging aligned to Medical Affairs and BeOne strategic imperatives and objecitves. Partnering with Global Publication Planning Leads to monitor medical literature and conference abstracts for new reports relevant to Medical Affairs resources, incorporating medical insights into digital asset development. Conducting literature searches and analyzing results to identify scientifically robust references for digital assets, coordinating development with internal subject matter experts. Coordinating with Medical Affairs colleagues, external vendors, and agencies to establish project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of digital engagements, effectively communicating status updates and anticipating risks. Overseeing the creation and dissemination of digital assets tailored for diverse global contexts; collaborating with Global Medical Affairs stakeholders to ensure global resources meet regional needs and developing local or country-specific resources as necessary, while maintaining consistency in key data statements across related assets. Managing the Medical Review Committee (MRC) reviews and approvals for digital content and Medical Affairs resources, including annotations, referencing, and comment adjudication in collaboration with clinical subject matter experts and MRC members. Translating complex scientific data into engaging, compliant formats tailored for HCPs, ensuring clarity and relevance for the target audience. Leading planning initiatives for campaigns, customer journeys, and the modular reuse of materials to enhance communication efficiency and effectiveness. Adhering to BeOne SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards while applying legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements to all Medical Affairs activities. Continuously researching and educating themselves and stakeholders on innovative approaches to digitally engage with HCPs, including new content formats, platforms, and insights. This entails monitoring external trends and emerging innovations, establishing internal best practices through cross-functional collaboration, market research, and cultivating vendor relationships and partnerships. Required Education: MA/MS degree or higher (PhD or Pharm.D) is required. Other Qualifications: MA/MS degree with 6 + years o or a PhD or Pharm.D with 4 + years of experience in pharmaceutical or agency medical affairs experience required 5 + years of experience creating scientific resources in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or agency/vendor setting for delivery to healthcare professionals and payors. Experience in developing and executing digital omnichannel campaigns is required Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, strong personal integrity, teamwork abilities, and customer focus are necessary with demonstrated superior written and verbal communication skills required. Demonstrated ability in project management, prioritization, and strong organizational skills required. Experience in vendor management required. Scientific/clinical background in hematology and/or oncology, strongly preferred. Knowledge of science and healthcare, including the ability to learn new concepts and new therapeutic areas, is quickly strongly preferred. Knowledge of clinical medicine, disease management, and medical research practices strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage projects and to effectively coach, mentor, and communicate with scientific/clinical persons at all skill and knowledge levels strongly preferred. Knowledge of applicable international compliance guidelines and regulations for scientific communications applicable to pharmaceutical companies strongly preferred.
