Licensed Autism Evaluation Consultant Location: New Mexico: Virtual / Optional In-State Travel Assignments Employment Type: Contract/Part-Time Pay Rate: $100 per hour (negotiable based on experience) Join Our Mission: At Behavior Change Institute, our mission is to enhance access and build specialty care capacity for all families regardless of location. We are seeking a Licensed Autism Evaluation Consultant to conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescents referred for possible Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Key Responsibilities: • Conduct autism-specific or psychological assessments and write diagnostic reports per funding source guidelines. • Analyze and interpret clinical data to determine ASD and other diagnoses. • Provide clear written evaluations and communicate findings to families and providers. • Prepare clinical documentation, including individualized service reports. • Stay up to date with the latest research and evidence-based practices. • Demonstrate clear and concise clinical writing in evaluations and reports. • Comply with all internal procedures, deadlines, and documentation requirements. Qualifications: Candidate must meet the following criteria: • Be a New Mexico licensed: • Doctoral-level clinical psychologist • MD/DO in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Pediatric Neurology, or Psychiatry (Child, Adolescent, or Adult) Required Competencies • Experience in or knowledge of ABA and other evidence-based ASD interventions • Qualified to perform Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations • Advanced training and experience in diagnosing and treating ASD and related neurodevelopmental disorders • Proficient in differential diagnosis of ASD vs. other developmental, psychiatric, or medical conditions Physical Requirements: • Ability to move frequently (walking, sitting, bending, lifting, etc.). • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. • Comfortable around animals with no significant allergies that would interfere with interaction. • Visual and auditory capacity to communicate effectively.
