As a Team Lead, you won’t just code—you’ll lead and mentor a team of passionate developers, ensuring that our technical standards are met, best practices are followed, and every project is executed with buzz-worthy precision. Your Key Responsibilities 🛠️: • Technical Analysis: Break down new projects and features into actionable tasks, ensuring clear, efficient execution across the team. • Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews, mentoring developers on best practices, and merging approved code to our Dev branch. • Production Deployments: Work closely with our DevOps team to deploy releases smoothly to dev, staging, and production, ensuring a flawless end-to-end pipeline. • Bug Assignment: Oversee bug assignment, making sure newly created issues land in the right developer’s lap for speedy resolution. • Team performance review: Monthly 1 on 1 performance reviews with developers. • Team enhancement: Interviewing new candidates for the developer position. Mentorship & Technical Leadership 🏆: • Mentor and Guide: Provide hands-on mentorship to the development team, helping them improve code quality, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise. • Promote Best Practices: Ensure the team adheres to Bee Techy’s coding standards, including the DRY, KISS, and Single Responsibility Principles. • Technical Approach Oversight: Lead the team in adopting and following our standardized tech stack and ensuring consistency in architectural decisions across projects. • Team Development: Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions and technical workshops to keep the team up-to-date with new technologies and methodologies. • Project Oversight: Ensure that technical solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the overall architectural vision of the project. • Code Quality: Continuously advocate for clean, efficient, and secure code by championing automated testing, self-testing, and code reviews before features go live. • Collaborate on Roadmaps: Work with Product Owners and other stakeholders to ensure that technical approaches align with business goals and project timelines.
