Beekman Social is currently seeking a sharp, client-facing Account Manager based in New York City to support key accounts on a freelance basis. This role will be instrumental in owning day-to-day client relationships and ensuring seamless execution across social-first creative work. To be successful in this position, you must be highly organized, culturally fluent, and confident in fast-paced, client-facing environments. You understand how to balance creative ambition with operational rigor. You anticipate needs, bring solutions forward, and ensure both clients and internal teams feel supported, informed, and aligned. Your experience makes you comfortable owning accounts from kickoff through delivery. You understand how social-first creative work comes to life. You are emotionally intelligent, proactive, and steady under pressure. In this role, you will help teams pursue the opposite of obvious, ensuring bold, culturally relevant work is delivered with precision and excellence. WHAT YOU’D DO • Own day-to-day client communication across assigned accounts. • Lead client meetings, draft agendas, and manage follow-ups. • Manage client expectations with confidence and clarity. • Serve as a trusted partner on executional and operational needs. • Translate client goals into actionable project plans and workstreams. • Manage timelines, scopes, budgets (as applicable), and deliverables. • Coordinate approvals, feedback, and revisions across teams. • Proactively identify risks and course-correct when needed. • Partner closely with Creative and Strategy teams to deliver strong, social-first work. • Contribute to strategic conversations and content planning. • Ensure work is aligned with client business objectives and brand voice. • Lead internal teams to maintain momentum and clarity across projects. • Stay current on social trends, platform updates, and cultural moments. • Bring relevant insights into client conversations. WHAT YOU’VE GOT • 3–5 years of experience in account management at a social, creative, or integrated agency. • Proven experience owning client relationships independently. • Strong understanding of organic social and paid media campaigns. • Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage complexity while maintaining composure. • NYC-based and available for in-person moments as needed.
