Through the integration of additive manufacturing, the company aims to meet the growing and urgent needs for unmanned aerial defense by dramatically improving a jet engine's speed to market, fuel efficiency, and cost. Role Overview Beehive Industries is looking for an energetic and driven Procurement Analyst to support our Cincinnati, OH location. The Raw Materials Metals Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing raw materials and outside services to support development and production business needs. This role will focus on cost, supplier performance, market analysis, and ensuring a reliable supply of metals while meeting quality, delivery, and sustainability requirements. What You'll Do... • Source and purchase raw material metals (e.g., Ni based alloys & revert) in alignment with production forecasts and inventory targets • Issue Purchase Orders to suppliers in alignment with Procure-to-Pay policy and procedure, manage confirmations, and track deliveries to ensure on-time supply. • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives • Work alongside Quality and cross-functional leads to support in supplier selection and onboarding. • Collaborate with engineering, quality, production, and finance teams to align material specifications and requirements • Manage supplier performance, including quality, lead times, and responsiveness • Resolve supply issues, shortages, and discrepancies proactively • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and applicable regulations • Support cost-reduction, value-engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives • Use critical thinking and judgment to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day to-day issue resolution You have... • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • 3+ years relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, buying, preferably with metals or industrial raw materials • Strong negotiation and contract management skills; ability to cultivate strong supplier relationships • Working knowledge of metals markets and commodity pricing mechanisms • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics • Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative • Quick learner and can strategically prioritize work • Experience working in defense procurement operating structure preferred • Technical aptitude and business acumen • Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
