Leading operational scale, resiliency, and execution excellence across supply chain, logistics, fleet, data, and test operations.
Extensive experience in operations, supply chain, or product operations in complex, scaled environments, with proven leadership and strategic planning skills.
Join the team bringing advanced autonomy to the built world At Bedrock, we’re moving AI out of the lab and into the real world. Our team is composed of industry veterans who helped launch Waymo, scaled Segment to a $3.2B acquisition, and grew Uber Freight to $5B in revenue. Today, we’re deploying autonomous systems on heavy construction machinery across the country, accelerating project schedules of billion-dollar infrastructure projects and improving safety on job sites. Backed by $350M in funding, we’re working quickly to close the gap between America's surging demand for housing, data centers, manufacturing hubs, and the construction industry's growing labor shortage. This is where algorithms meet steel-toed boots. You’ll collaborate with construction veterans and world-class engineers to solve physical-world problems that simulations can’t touch. If you're ready to apply cutting-edge technology to solve meaningful problems alongside a talented team—we'd love to have you join us. Bedrock is seeking a senior Supply Chain & Operations Lead to drive operational scale, resiliency, and execution excellence across a rapidly growing, hardware-enabled technology organization. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this leader will work on end-to-end operational execution across supply chain, logistics, fleet, data operations, and test operations—ensuring Bedrock can scale reliably while maintaining high performance, cost discipline, and partner trust. This role is ideal for an experienced operations leader who thrives in ambiguity, partners deeply with technical teams, and brings rigor and clarity to complex, cross-functional environments. Key Duties • Help scale Bedrock’s operational execution across Supply Chain, Logistics, Fleet Ops, Data Ops, and Test Ops. • Partner with program management to establish operational roadmap, translating company strategy into clear priorities, execution plans, and measurable outcomes. • Partner with engineering and program management to translate product and hardware priorities into deployment, testing, and validation workstreams for operational verticals to support. • Work with Fleet and Data operations to enable new geographic and satellite rollouts while maintaining and expanding existing operational regions for growth and maturity. • Work with key operational stakeholders to ensure clear service expectations for operational teams that integrate into larger company-wide OKRs. • Establish a structured process to enable operational performance monitoring, alerting, and rapid remediation strategies when results deviate from plan. • Drive continuous improvement through building operational tools, systems, and processes that improve efficiency, quality, and scalability. • Balance execution excellence with disciplined cost management and scalable resourcing via suppliers, vendors, 3rd party sourcing firms. Collaboration and Alignment • Engineering & Product: product development, hardware readiness, deployment, and operations. • Program Management: planning, prioritization, and execution of complex cross-functional initiatives. • Finance & Analytics: budgeting, forecasting, OKRs, and data-driven decision-making. • Commercial, Legal, and External Partners: ensuring operational decisions support customer, regulatory, and business needs. Skills and Experience Required • 15+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or product operations within complex, scaled environments. • Proven experience building and executing operational strategies in fast-paced, technology-driven organizations. • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior technical and business leaders. • Highly analytical and data-driven, with a track record of strong operational decision-making. • Experience leading teams across multiple operational domains and geographies. Preferred • B2B operational experience. • Background in hardware, robotics, autonomous systems, construction, or heavy industry. • Experience supporting distributed field operations and customer deployments. Our roles are often flexible. If you don't fit all the criteria, or are in another location (especially one where we have an office like SF or NY) please apply anyway! We'd love to consider you.
