## Sr Product Manager – Collection Operations Strategy and Systems We are BECU, a purpose-driven financial cooperative guided by a “people helping people” philosophy since 1935. PAY RANGE The Target Pay Range for this position is $156,200.00-$190,800.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $118,200.00 - $220,200.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role. You will manage critical systems (including Fax), oversee agency partnerships, and use data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and measure performance. To be eligible for this position you must be a resident of one of these states: WA, OR, ID, CA, AZ, TX, NC, SC, GA or VA. If you live in Washington state and are within a reasonable driving distance to our Tukwila Headquarters (TFC), we encourage you to come into the office on Tuesdays & Wednesdays each week. For candidates outside commutable distance to TFC but located in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be primarily remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment. What the work looks like day-to-day: - Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for collections systems and operations, aligning initiatives with broader business goals. - Oversee administration and management of current collections platforms (including Fax) and lead modernization efforts such as platform migration and improvements to digital communications. - Manage relationships with external collection agencies, resolve operational challenges, and share best practices to improve recovery outcomes. - Optimize member communications by refining digital outreach strategies (SMS, email) and running test-and-control campaigns to improve engagement and results. - Conduct data analysis to identify trends, measure performance, and inform strategic decisions. Capture insights, monitor KPIs, and adjust strategies to enhance efficiency and member experience. - Collaborate closely with Credit Risk, Compliance, Customer Service, Finance, and external vendors to deliver seamless solutions. What you’ll bring (preserved exactly as listed): Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in technology, business, or related discipline. Typically requires 7 years of product management, product development, or equivalent experience with platform technology within collections. Desired Qualifications: Advanced degree preferred. Experience working in an agile environment. Previous experience overseeing all elements of the product development life cycle. Experience managing highly effective cross-functional teams. Experience managing and maintaining vendor relationships. Familiarity with collections systems (e.g., Fax, Temenos) and digital communication tools (SMS platforms like Live. Vox or Genesys). Data analysis skills using SQL, SAS, or similar tools. Ability to proactively identify business and customer needs, overcome barriers, and formulate solutions. Previous experience understanding and determining product strategies based on the voice of the customer. Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
