We are seeking an astute individual with in-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and materials, coupled with proficiency in handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, cranes, and other typical material handling machinery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, enabling them to effectively engage with manufacturers, internal and external customers, and vendors alike. Key Responsibilities • Oversee warehouse and delivery operations to ensure seamless execution and high-quality service delivery. • Develop and enforce policies and procedures that foster a culture of safety and efficiency. • Determine optimal strategies for incoming and outgoing job allocation. • Coordinate internal activities, ensuring effective communication between departments and stakeholders. • Collaborate with sales teams to guarantee timely and efficient deliveries to customers. • Maintain quality control standards by identifying and addressing any issues that arise. • Foster strong relationships with customers and vendors through regular engagement and proactive problem-solving. • Perform tasks such as Warehouse Associate and Truck Driver duties, emergency delivery runs, and ad-hoc projects as required. Requirements To excel in this critical role, you must possess: • A High School Diploma or equivalent, combined with relevant training and experience. • Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics, and supply chain management. • Proficiency in operating various types of material handling equipment. • Demonstrated expertise in using computers and software applications. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
