Job Overview: • The Client seeks a Senior Project Controller to support IT Project Managers for their MidCon Business Unit. • The individual will be responsible for working on 5+ IT projects simultaneously, requiring self-motivation and confidence as a self-starter. Responsibilities: • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing technical activities. • Maintain updates and accuracy of project execution plans in Microsoft Project across multiple projects. • Perform financial analysis and monitoring. • Maintain accuracy of Microsoft PPM entries and executive reporting. • Serve as the primary interface between central PMO and project teams. • Collaborate with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures. • Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates. Requirements: • Expertise in Microsoft Project. • Experience in Microsoft PPM. • Strong knowledge of full MS Suite (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio). • Skilled in financial analysis. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Preferred Qualifications: • PMI or PMP certification. • At least 10 years of experience. • Chevron experience is highly valued.
