Key responsibilities include inventory management, supplier selection and evaluation, contract negotiation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. • Inventory Control: The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of raw material inventory levels and implementing strategies to minimize aging inventory. • Supplier Selection: The Procurement Specialist will source high-quality suppliers that meet business needs and negotiate contracts that balance price and service requirements. • Contract Management: The Procurement Specialist will develop and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. • Compliance: The Procurement Specialist will ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to procurement and supply chain management. Required Skills and Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess a degree in a relevant discipline, such as supply chain management or business administration, and have at least two years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role. Key skills include excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
