Strategic Sourcing Manager for Lab Consumables We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive cost savings and improve operational efficiency. Your primary focus will be on managing sourcing initiatives for Lab Consumables, including defining requirements, gathering data through market intelligence reports and Voice of the Customer interviews, and negotiating contract terms and conditions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives that align with business objectives. This includes collaborating with procurement, supply chain, and operations teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of sourcing contracting tools, ERP's, and eRFx systems. Experience in Pharma/BioPharma with cross-functional experience in Lab Consumables category or related categories is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings and improve operational efficiency • Manage sourcing specifications, requirements, and scopes of work for RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Business Administration) • Progressive experience in procurement, preferably in Pharma/BioPharma • Solid understanding of sourcing contracting tools, ERP's, and eRFx systems Preferred Qualifications: • Hands-on experience supporting sourcing platform technologies
