Imaging Specialist Opportunity Seeking a skilled imaging specialist for a 13-week travel contract in Altoona, PA. One year of recent experience as an imaging technologist is required. Key Responsibilities: • Operate advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. • Prepare patients for the procedure, position them safely and accurately, ensure proper protocols are followed, and work closely with radiologists to obtain precise images for accurate diagnosis. • Maintain equipment, keep patient records, and adhere to safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure and provide exceptional care throughout the imaging process. Requirements: • Valid medical license in compliance with state regulations. • The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in the English language. • Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain stationary, move about, lift equipment (up to 100lbs), push, pull, and bend. • Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent public contact and meet deadlines under pressure.
