Full Description

Global Medical Director Lead a cross-functional team in translating therapeutic strategies into clinical development plans. Collaborate with asset strategy teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery within budget. • Provide strategic medical insight and planning throughout the development process. • Line manage global clinical trial physicians, coaching and developing their roles for high-quality medical support. • Oversight of study medical aspects, communicating effectively with management and study teams. • Safeguard harmonisation across studies for consistent external stakeholder communications and company efficiency. Requirements: • Medical Doctor or equivalent degree required; board certification preferred. • Specialty education (e.g. residency/fellowship) in rheumatology with patient treatment and/or research experience. • At least 3-5 years end-to-end drug development experience in the pharma/biotech industry. Skills and Abilities: • Excellent English written and spoken communication skills. • Proven leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills in global and intercultural environments. • Problem-solving and negotiation skills. • Demonstrated expertise in clinical trial design, conduct, and data interpretation. Work Environment: • Office environment with occasional site visits and travel. • Frequent mobility and stationary work. • Ability to access and use various computer software.
