Role Description This is a pro bono role for a Consulting Project Manager supporting small businesses and startups with Beaver Development Society (BDS). The Project Manager will oversee project timelines and deliverables for student consulting projects. Responsibilities include managing project scope, coordinating with student teams, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule, and timeline / plan coordination. Responsibilities • Manage project timelines, scope, and deliverables for student-led initiatives • Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure smooth project execution • Facilitate accountability and progress tracking for volunteer team members • Identify risks or bottlenecks and propose solutions to maintain project momentum • Support mentoring and collaboration within the student team Qualifications • Strong organizational, leadership, and project management skills • Prior experience in consulting, project management, or coordinating team initiatives • High school students preferred • Experience managing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously • Familiarity with tools for task tracking and workflow management is a plus Location & Commitment • Hybrid role (flexible remote participation) • Time commitment varies depending on project and week, but roughly 10-15 hours/week • Opportunity to gain real-world consulting experience while contributing to meaningful student-led initiatives
