Job Summary Beans & Brews Coffee House is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our coffee house. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and responsible and will possess strong leadership skills, extensive management experience in the food/beverage industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, controlling inventory, and maintaining overall operational excellence to provide an outstanding experience for our customers. The General Manager position is a full time position with a minimum average hour requirement of 40 hours per week. Applicants must enjoy working with the public, and have a friendly, outgoing personality. Retail and/or customer service experience as well as leadership experience is necessary. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. The General Manager position is guest facing, therefore fluent English skills are required. Responsibilities • Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including kitchen management, food and drink preparation, and customer service. • Oversee staff training, development, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and efficient team. • Manage inventory control, food safety compliance, and ensure adherence to health regulations. • Handle shift management, scheduling, and ensure smooth daily operations during all business hours. • Implement and monitor POS systems such as Aloha POS for accurate sales tracking. • Maintain high standards of hospitality management by ensuring excellent customer service experiences. • Conduct interviews for hiring new staff members and participate in staff training programs. Skills / Responsibilities • Extensive management experience within the food service industry, including restaurant management or hospitality management roles. • Positive, friendly and confident personality with strong leadership, training and communication skills. • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, and food handling procedures. • Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS. • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively manage people and resolve guest and employee questions and concerns. • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities such as shift management, budgeting, training & development effectively. • Leadership qualities with a focus on team development, supervision experience, and strategic planning. The General Manager must be a professional representative of Beans & Brews Coffee House setting the example for their staff.
