NOTE: Looking for candidates who can work on PST Hours 100% Remote AI Project Manager-Broker Dealer & Wealth Management Overview Seeking a contract AI Project Manager to lead enterprise AI initiatives within a regulated financial services environment. This role requires a strong traditional project management foundation combined with hands-on experience delivering technology initiatives within Broker-Dealer, Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Trading organizations. The ideal candidate understands financial advisory platforms, trading systems, compliance frameworks, and enterprise data ecosystems and can drive AI initiatives within those operational constraints. Ideal Profile This is not a pure AI research role. Seeking a seasoned Financial Services Project Manager who understands how AI initiatives must operate inside Broker-Dealer and Wealth Management regulatory frameworks someone who can lead structured delivery, manage risk, and communicate effectively with senior leadership. Must Haves • 8+ years of Project or Program Management experience within: • Broker-Dealer • Wealth Management • Asset Management • Trading environments • Proven experience leading large, cross-functional technology initiatives (system integrations preferred) • Strong understanding of financial services business processes (advisory platforms, trading workflows, client onboarding, compliance, reporting) • Experience delivering AI/ML or advanced data initiatives within a regulated environment • Deep expertise in: • Scope, schedule, cost, risk, and stakeholder management • Agile / Scrum / Hybrid methodologies • Experience managing projects involving: • Data governance • Privacy regulations • Model risk / bias considerations • Strong executive communication skills - ability to translate technical AI concepts into business outcomes • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and enterprise PM tools Key Responsibilities • Lead AI-driven initiatives from concept through deployment within regulated financial services environments • Partner with Program Leadership to coordinate cross-functional teams including Data Science, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Business Operations • Ensure AI solutions align with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards • Drive project planning, execution, reporting, and steering committee updates • Identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, compliance, privacy, and model governance • Manage change requests, gate approvals, and executive-level status communications • Maintain structured project documentation and enforce PM standards across workstreams Preferred Qualifications • PMP or equivalent PMI certification • Scrum certifications (CSM, SAFe, etc.) • Exposure to AI governance frameworks or responsible AI practices • Experience with cloud platforms supporting AI workloads Interested candidates may submit their resumes online or call at 310-906-4780 for further information regarding the position.
