Sr. Project Controls Specialist Supporting Corporate T&D Projects Work Location: Any of the following (seeking Local Candidates) The Woodlands, TX or New Orleans, LA or Baton Rouge, LA or Jackson, MS Estimated Duration: 1 year + Hours: 40 hours per week estimated, potential for additional hours if project timelines require it. Will be required to travel to sites, as needed. Pay Rate: $70 - $80/hr Non-exempt Per Diem: No pd - local or candidates willing to relocate only. Mob / Demob: No m/d - local or candidates willing to relocate only. BCP is seeking a Senior-Level Project Controls Specialist. The Project Controls Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and managing project budget, schedule and project resources to ensure the project is on track and within budget. The ideal candidate will be able to utilize software to track progress, analyze data and generate reports. This role requires skills in cost estimating, scheduling, risk management, and expertise in project management software. The key responsibilities will include developing and managing project budget, estimating costs and coordinating with other teams to monitor spend; creating, maintaining and analyzing detailed project schedules and reporting deviations; monitoring and managing resource allocation and ensuring efficiency; identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies; preparing status report for performance, cost and schedule. Minimum Requirements: Prior utility experience is required (see highlighted note below). High school diploma required. 10 years of project controls and/or scheduling experience required. Preferred Requirements: Prior T&D experience is a huge plus. Prior Cost analysis experience is a plus. Bachelor degree in engineering, construction management, business or a related field is highly preferred. Physical Requirements: Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs.
