Job Overview A law firm seeks an Innovation Attorney to join their team in Washington, DC, with the option for 100% remote work within the United States. The role focuses on enhancing the delivery of legal services in the Finance business units through innovative practices involving people, process, and technology. Duties • Lead efforts to optimize client service delivery and increase efficiencies in Finance business units. • Develop and maintain precedent libraries and organize deal documents. • Collaborate with the Research & Information team to integrate practice content into workflows. • Design solutions to improve client/deal intake and data sharing. • Support projects to digitalize practice and leverage technology. • Oversee training curriculum and knowledge sharing initiatives. • Integrate AI into legal practice to automate workflows and documents. • Evaluate legal service delivery through data analysis and market trends. • Educate legal professionals on practice content and technology initiatives. • Develop case studies for marketing and business development. Requirements • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited institution and admission to practice in a US jurisdiction. • Minimum of four years of experience as a Finance attorney in a large law firm. • Strong communication skills to present complex ideas clearly. • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle diverse situations. • Familiarity with legal technology and AI applications. • Excellent project management and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. • Willingness to travel as necessary.
