Job Title: Customer Service Advocate I (Job Code: J00774) Pay Rate: $19.38/hr (+$1/hr for bilingual Spanish) | Duration: 3 months | Type: Contract-to-Hire Location: Remote – Indiana | Schedule: Mon–Fri, 11 AM–8 PM EST The Customer Service Advocate I serves as a first-line support representative for MHS Indiana, handling inbound calls from Medicaid members and providers. This role focuses on resolving routine inquiries, issues, and concerns in both English and Spanish, ensuring timely, accurate, and personalized support across phone, live chat, and email channels. Responsibilities include addressing member/provider questions, mitigating escalations through first-contact resolution, documenting all interactions in the CRM system, maintaining quality and performance standards, and staying updated on policies and compliance requirements. Candidates will work closely with a friendly, supportive team including managers, supervisors, and team leads. Requirements: High school diploma/GED; Spanish bilingual required; ability to work 11 AM–8 PM EST; strong communication skills; ability to multitask using multiple systems. Preferred qualifications include previous call center experience. Normal background check required.
