Business Line (BL) Leader / Sr. Federal Program Manager BB&E is a full service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors. Position Summary BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented BL Leader / Sr. Federal Program Manager to join our team, supporting program delivery, business development and staff management from our San Antonio, TX Office across BB&E and its offices. The position will require working in multiple functional areas to provide leadership, strategy, and direction supporting the development of key clients and projects within our Federal Advisory & Assistance Support (A&AS) Business Lines. Job Duties & Responsibilities · Client Service Manager (CSM): responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, understanding client needs, positioning BB&E to support those needs and ensure client satisfaction, and serving as the client’s liaison with BB&E. Prepare update, and lead Client Account Plan management · Federal Program Manager (PgM): support the delivery of work at a programmatic-level, lead project teams to establish and follow delivery structure, tools and processes which yield performance and products that meet or exceed expectations and grow revenues through follow on work · Business Development Leader (BDL): learn BB&E clients, further establish and grow our federal services areas, develop, lead and support key pursuits strategies, support proposal efforts including pricing strategies · Mentor-Coach for Compliance Staff: as a leader of our federal A&AS BL identify staff who are interested and capable of helping BB&E grow and learn the business; provide career and technical development guidance and mentoring to keep our staff challenged as we continue to grow our A&AS BL · Develop existing clients within our federal programs · Position for new work and opportunities, lead and support marketing strategies that lead to new business · Mentor and grow BD and project/program management staff · Support Dan Marion in FED A&AS strategy development to drive revenue growth, identification of key contract/TO pursuits, development of client development plans for existing and potential new clients; serve as a successor to Dan Marion · Lead and support the development of Client Account Management (CAM) Plans work closely with our BD Team to monitoring and track new opportunities, TOs and modifications to existing contracts that extend our performance · Develop an internal marketing strategy to sell your skills and capabilities to others within the Business Lines, Programs and Client Service Teams · Develop a list of potential clients and opportunities that BB&E should pursue based on input from leadership and your relationships with existing clients Support proposals by developing win strategies, preparation of marketing and communication materials to grow compliance, restoration, engineering and construction services, and direct teams to win work Key Qualifications · Knowledge and Competencies o Ability to quickly understand BB&E resources, business lines, and products and services o Ability to quickly integrate into the firm to develop relationships with staff and build a network of support staff o Must be persistent, tactful, flexible, and organized · Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences · Software: Proficiency using MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint · Self-Starter: Highly motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines autonomously Experience & Education · Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience is required · Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited college or university is required Physical Requirements · Ability to stand/walk/climb/kneel/crouch and remain in a stationary position/sit at least 60% of the time · Ability to operate office equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc. · Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms · Capable of lifting up to 10 lbs. · Ability to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away · Ability to understand the speech of another person, speak clearly so listeners can understand, and talk or hear both in person and by telephone Compensation, Benefits & Perks · Competitive compensation packages · Participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan – BB&E is 100% employee-owned! · Discretionary bonus · *Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance with health care concierge · *Employer provided Short-Term & Long-Term disability · *Employer provided Life insurance · *Employee options for supplemental life, supplemental accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and Identity theft protection benefits · *Generous PTO plus 11 paid holidays · Traditional & Roth 401(k) options with fully vested employer match · Tuition reimbursement & professional development · Employee referral program · Employee discounts · Employee Assistance Program (EAP) · Pet insurance discount *Applies only to full-time employees *BB&E is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an Affirmative Action Employer.
