About the Role Compensation: $21–$25 per hour, based on experience, skills, and benefit elections. We are a growing, food-grade third-party logistics (3PL) company supporting food manufacturers and importers. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to serve as the on-site hub between our customers, office systems, and warehouse team. This is an on-site, critical operational position responsible for ensuring that orders, paperwork, and communications are accurate, complete, and released correctly to the warehouse each day. Accuracy, follow-through, and calm decision-making are essential. Key Responsibilities - Daily Office Operations • Open the office each morning • Answer incoming phone calls • Monitor and respond to driver check-ins throughout the day • Communicate arrival status and issues to the warehouse team Email & Order Coordination • Monitor shared customer email inboxes • Identify and sort emails (orders, BOLs, inbound alerts, customer questions) • Respond to customers or route questions internally as needed • Follow up when required information (BOLs, ship dates, carrier info) is missing Order & Document Control • Review customer orders for completeness and accuracy • Coordinate with data-entry staff to ensure orders and receipts are entered correctly in the warehouse management system • Print order and receiving paperwork • Verify printed paperwork matches system data • Prepare and release complete order packets to the warehouse • Ensure next-day orders are fully prepared in advance Workflow & Communication • Act as the daily point of coordination between: • Customers • Office systems • Warehouse operations • Escalate exceptions or unusual situations to the Operations Supervisor • Ensure nothing critical “falls through the cracks” This role is about control, coordination, and accuracy. Qualifications • Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or operations support preferred • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Comfortable working with email, spreadsheets, and computer systems • Able to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Calm, reliable, and organized under pressure Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS/3PL software) is a plus but not required — training will be provided.
