Responsibilities: - Perform medical procedures under the supervision of a healthcare professional - Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Assist with patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding - Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers - Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality - Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families Qualifications: - Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy - Familiarity with senior care and memory care practices - Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks - Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change based on the needs of the healthcare facility.
