Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in case management or youth counseling with leadership, familiarity with juvenile justice preferred, valid Florida driver’s license.
The Operations Manager for Juvenile Diversion Alternative Program (JDAP) will serve as a dynamic leader overseeing the operational aspects of our programs. The Operations Manager will be instrumental in leading case management efforts, capturing essential data, conducting training, and contributing to the overall success of our JDAP program. We are looking for an Operations Manager of Diversion Services who must have: • Bachelor’s Degree, or an Associate degree with two years of experience working with youth. A combination of education and appropriate experience can be substituted for degree. • Three years’ experience in case management and/or youth and family counseling to include demonstrated leadership experience. • Familiarity with Juvenile Justice System and community resources preferred. • Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and Auto Insurance Job duties and responsibilities include: • Actively participate in identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. • Conduct program trainings to enhance the skills and knowledge of case management staff. • Contribute to the development and delivery of training initiatives aimed at continuous professional development. • Identify training needs for staff and implement professional development initiatives to provide strategic leadership and direction to the JDAP programs. • Collaborate with supervisors to develop and implement effective case management strategies in alignment with organizational goals. • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency of JDAP services. • Monitor and evaluate operational workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions. • Establish and enforce quality assurance measures to ensure compliance with program standards, legal requirements, and best practices. • Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain a high standard of service delivery. • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, ensuring staff are well-equipped to fulfill their roles effectively. • Address and resolve employee relations issues to maintain a positive work culture. • Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of data related to juvenile justice case management activities. • Utilize data insights to drive continuous improvement and inform decision-making. Job Essentials: • Build, nurture and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, juvenile justice agencies, court systems, community partners, and agencies across the Region. • Collaborate with external partners/stakeholders to enhance the coordination and effectiveness of JDAP case management services. • Lead case staffing to ensure effective communication and collaboration among the case management team. • Capture and analyze critical data, including successful completions, length of stay, and unsuccessful closures, to inform program improvements. • Provide backup support to supervisors as needed, ensuring seamless continuity of operations. • Contribute to training initiatives, particularly when the Circuit falls below the threshold score on desk reviews. • Address employee relations issues proactively and maintain a positive and supportive work environment. • Support QI reviews to maintain and enhance the quality of JDAP services. • Drive daily to nearby locations for meetings.
