The Editors at Batch.ai Remote · Contract / Freelance About Us The Editors at Batch.ai is a premium, human-based photo editing service built specifically for wedding photographers who value precision, consistency, and maintaining their unique artistic style. We support photographers during busy seasons by providing fast, reliable, and style-accurate editing — without sacrificing quality. As we expand for the 2026 season, we’re looking to bring on experienced contract photo editors to join our trusted editing team. Role Overview As a Contract Photo Editor, you’ll work with professional wedding photographers to cull, edit, and retouch galleries with accuracy, efficiency, and care. This is a remote, flexible, on-demand role — ideal for editors who thrive on meeting deadlines and delivering consistent, high-quality work. Responsibilities • Cull large wedding galleries efficiently and accurately • Photo edit wedding images in Adobe Lightroom Classic, matching each photographer’s unique style • Perform basic to advanced retouching as requested (skin, blemishes, distractions, etc.) • Maintain consistent color, exposure, and tone across full galleries • Meet fast turnaround expectations (often 72 hours or less) • Communicate clearly and professionally with our internal team • Follow established workflows, naming conventions, and delivery standards Required Qualifications • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Lightroom Classic (required) • Proven experience editing wedding photography (portfolio or samples required) • Strong understanding of: • Color correction and consistency • White balance and exposure control • Clean, natural retouching • Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality • Reliable computer setup and fast internet connection • Excellent time management and ability to hit deadlines consistently • Comfortable working as an independent contractor Preferred (Nice to Have) • Experience with: • Culling tools and workflows • High-volume gallery editing • Fine-art, true-to-color, or documentary wedding styles • Retouching experience beyond Lightroom (e.g., Photoshop for advanced requests) What We Offer • 100% remote, flexible contract work • On-demand editing (no minimum or fixed workload) • Consistent projects during peak wedding seasons • Clear style guides and structured workflows • Supportive, professional team environment • Opportunity to grow with a respected brand in the wedding industry How to Apply Please submit: • A brief introduction outlining your wedding editing experience • Confirmation of Lightroom Classic proficiency • Your availability and typical turnaround capacity Qualified applicants will be invited to complete a 100 photo editing test.
