We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Account & Market Development Manager - Industrial Formulators to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a hunting mindset and entrepreneurial spirit who thrives on identifying new business opportunities, building customer relationships from the ground up, and driving growth in untapped markets such as bioprocessing, construction, and metal surface treatment. You’ll be responsible for expanding BASF’s footprint by acquiring new customers and guiding the BASF team on unlocking new revenue streams across the untapped markets. This position will have an existing territory of customers as well. This role will drive sales of core BASF chemistries such as surfactants, polymers, methane sulfonic acid, and APGs. This role is remote and can be located anywhere in the continental US, with proximity to a major airport as it requires frequent in-person visits to customers and BASF sites with an expectation of up to 50% overnight travel. Developing and executing account strategies to strengthen relationships, increase share of wallet, and improve sales profits. Driving closure of new business opportunities and growing profitability for BASF Establishing multi-level relationships with customers as well as interfacing closely within the BASF organization to drive new projects and business growth. Identifying customers’ innovation needs and how BASF can fulfil those requirements, while collaborating with technical, marketing, and product management teams to deliver customer-specific solutions.
