Full Description

Bartlett Wealth Management is seeking an Investment Associate to join our team. The person in this position will have a significant opportunity to learn and grow within the firm and gain cross functional knowledge in investment management, portfolio management, trading, and other crucial building blocks of wealth management. The role is responsible for supporting multiple Wealth Advisors helping to serve the ever-evolving needs of their clients and will focus on investment management projects and trading across client portfolios. Core Responsibilities: Support the investment analysis and management of client accounts. Implement investment strategy changes and modeling target strategies for client accounts in Bartlett’s trading system. Help Advisors manage investments in client portfolios by developing and creating trades. Conduct research on investment solutions including equities, fixed income, mutual funds, exchange traded funds and alternative investments. Provide overall administrative and operational client service support to assist the business activities of the Wealth Advisors. Provide client reports utilizing software including Morningstar and other systems. Part of backup team to the Head Trader, being responsible for executing equity, fixed income, and mutual funds with multiple broker/custodian trading desks. Produce various periodic reports and handle special projects as needed. Develop a deep understanding of the financial markets and Bartlett’s investment strategies. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field. 3+ years of relevant experience in the financial services/investment industry. Pursuing the CFA or having an interest in doing so, is highly desirable. Experience and proficiency in using trading software and account management systems, notably RedBlack and Addepar. Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience and familiarity working with Morningstar is preferred. In addition, the ideal associate will: Have a strong attention to detail. Have effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
