Position Summary: This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns. The Fraud Technology team is looking for a mid level JAVA full stack Developer. Requirements include 5-10 years of experience (preferably in the financial industry). As a Developer you will work closely with business and technology partners to deliver solutions. Candidates must possess advanced problem solving skills, the willingness to learn and ability to effectively and concisely communicate verbally and in written/presentation format. You must work well in a supportive and transparent team environment, while having the ability to research and resolve issues independently. Candidates must have good communication skills and the ability to engage and influence teams across technology and the business. Responsibilities: Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle Automates manual release activities Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance) Develop and deliver complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements. Perform coding solutions, unit tests, and ensure that solutions can be integrated successfully into the overall applications/systems with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces. Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements. Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Perform spike/proof of concept to mitigate risk and implement new ideas. Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements. Utilize multiple architectural components in design and development of client requirements. Contribute to existing test suites. Analyze test reports, identify any test issues or errors and triage the underlying cause. Required qualifications: Java/J2EE Object Oriented design and Programming Spring (Spring batch or Spring integration and Spring boot is a plus) At least one ORM/Persistence Framework: iBatis/MyBatis, Hibernate, Kafka, JPA SOA, REST/SOAP Web Services, Micro Services CXF, JAXWS/JAXRS, JSON, XML Source Control: Bit Bucket, Subversion (SVN), Perforce, or similar Maven, test Driven development (TDD) and continuous integration (CI), JUnit, Mockito IDE: Eclipse, RAD, or other At least one RDMS and SQL: Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server Agile/Iterative development and full SDLC development At least one RIA Framework: jQuery, Angular, YUI, Ext JS, DOJO, Vue.js Front-end web development with JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS, Ajax, SASS Desired Qualifications: 2+ years of relevant work experience Proficiency in programming language(s) required for the role Cassandra, Hadoop, Kafka, MQ, OpenShift Skills: Application Development Automation Influence Solution Design Technical Strategy Development Architecture Business Acumen DevOps Practices Result Orientation Solution Delivery Process Analytical Thinking Collaboration Data Management Risk Management Test Engineering Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40
