Job Description: This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns. Responsibilities: Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas Automates manual release activities Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance) Typically, 10 years or more strategizing the build for large-scale, interdependent, critical applications and their long-term viability; 15 or more years of top-tier systems engineering experience Participates in design, development and implementation of systems engineering activities, to include OS technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities. Develop controls for automation platforms with focus on shared content (catalog) across Enterprise tools Responsible for components of complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and ctivities. Assists in establishment of input/output processes and working parameters for hardware compatibility and coordination of subsystems design and integration of total system. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. Considers applications and platforms across the organizational portfolio for symbiotic alignment and opportunities to augment a complete service offering Incorporates multiple AI channels into standard practice to foster productivity, consistency, and quality woven throughout independent deliverables and across our technology community of practice Required Qualifications: Ability to work both independently and within a high functioning team environment Ansible Automation Platform Expert level Unix/Linux admin and scripting (exp. 10+ years) – yaml, xml, python, perl, shell Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to present to audiences including senior management Strong organizational skills, ability to work with multiple groups to gather business requirements for product evidence and license compliance. Strong analytical, multitasking and prioritization skills Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, business environment Proven ability to build relationships and influence individuals in all regions of the organization Desired Qualifications: Prior experience at Bank of America would be a significant plus Experience with Windows admin and scripting a plus Experience with Service Now, Remedy, and Puppet a plus Skills: Application Development Automation Influence Solution Design Technical Strategy Development Architecture Business Acumen DevOps Practices Result Orientation Solution Delivery Process Ansible Python PostgreSQL Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40 Pay Transparency details US - NJ - Jersey City - 101 Hudson St - 101 Hudson (NJ2101) Pay and benefits information Pay range $102,900.00 - $179,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
