Job Summary: This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry. Responsibilities: Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements. Participate and guide team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality. Participate, contribute and can coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events, e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict, resolution, release notes. Required Qualifications: 8+ years as a software engineer Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (React, Angular, or similar) Strong backend development experience (Java, Python, Node.js, or similar) Experience with API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) Experience with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and automated testing frameworks Understanding of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) Knowledge of security best practices (authentication, authorization, vulnerability management) Desired Qualifications: Functioned in an SRE role within a large production environment Hands-on production experience with VCF 9.x, vSphere, Aria Suite, and NSX-T products Strong development background in VCF 9.x, vSphere APIs, Aria Suite APIs, NSX-T APIs Experience with customizing VCF, vSphere, Aria Suite, NSX-T deployment automation and configurations to specifications Knowledge of HCI bench or Xray Experience with Agile JIRA in a team setting Unit testing and system integration testing experience Strong scripting/programming skills: Python Ansible Powershell/PowerCLI REST API / Swagger Data types: JSON, YAML Skills: Application Development Automation Collaboration DevOps Practices Solution Design Agile Practices Architecture Result Orientation Solution Delivery Process User Experience Design Python Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40
