Job Description: This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns. The role will involve partnering with key stakeholders, teammates and technology management throughout the software delivery lifecycle to meet business requirements. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full technology stack, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions. Responsibilities: Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas Automates manual release activities Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance) Build and support remote risk infrastructure for multiple asset classes traded by Global Funding/CIO, including Bonds, Interest Rate Swaps, Repos, and FX products, ensuring accurate risk and P&L calculations. Develop Quartz risk calculators and reporting capabilities, improving valuation accuracy, hedge accounting processes, funding analytics, and market risk reporting across Treasury and CIO portfolios. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of relevant work experience Proficiency in programming language(s) required for the role 8+ years of experience Python experience 5+ years of experience working with Capital Markets Quant. Experience delivering solutions for Capital Markets. Experience working in an agile software development team. Extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns. Knowledge or various financial instruments Bonds, Interest rate swaps, Repo and FX products. Understanding of generation of risk and P/L for above set of instruments. Design and development experience in modern technologies such as API management, REST/API integration, Containers, Micro services. Creative, quick-thinking and an aptitude for solving problems with technology. Experience in Web UI (Angular, Spring) and CI/CD tools Ability to work both independently and within a high functioning team environment.
