(BCRI) is a nationally recognized nonprofit and Baltimore’s only comprehensive crisis response system. Since 1992, we’ve led the way in behavioral health crisis care — providing timely, community-based services for individuals and families experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. The Opportunity We are seeking a LEAD Senior Case Management Supervisor to support the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) program by overseeing daily operations, supervising targeted case managers and peer specialists, and providing direct services to individuals diverted from the criminal justice system. This role supports timely screening, intake, crisis intervention, and linkage to behavioral health and community-based services at the point of arrest. In this position, you will collaborate closely with law enforcement, the State’s Attorney’s Office, and community partners; guide staff on client progress and documentation; ensure compliance with Targeted Case Management (TCM) and COMAR regulations; and maintain a small caseload of approximately 10–15 LEAD participants. This role requires a person-centered, trauma-informed approach and strong leadership to promote stability, recovery, and successful community integration. Qualifications What You’ll Do Maintain regular staffing coverage to cover the LEAD office, from 10-6pm, so that officers can drop clients quickly at the Central District for LEAD intake and assessment. Maintain a flexible schedule to address issues that may arise with the LEAD Program Work collaboratively with police, the state’s attorney and other LEAD stakeholders Complete timely and accurate assessments of potential LEAD participants. Complete effective crisis intervention when needed. Enroll LEAD participants into Targeted Case Management when appropriate, Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with support services agencies. Provide case management to 10-15 LEAD participants Provide support and guidance to LEAD staff regarding client case management linkages to care Monitor LEAD staff productivity and facilitate weekly team meetings to review client case progress Maintain staff compliance with all TCM COMAR State regulations Work collaboratively with the BHSB LEAD Program Manager and the Director of Clinical Operations and Community Services to continue to enhance and grow the LEAD program Act as an emissary for the LEAD program, participating in public speaking opportunities as needed Develop appropriate treatment plans and linkage to care plans and procedures, including following LEAD participants for several months to several years. Attend weekly, operational workgroup meetings to discuss the status of LEAD pilot, and when necessary get, get input and assistance from operational partners with particular participants. Assist in tracking client data to facilitate and coordinate services. Attend trainings and conferences as needed. Active participation in the organization’s professional development program Additional responsibilities as determined by Management Qualifications & Other Details Qualifications Education: This position requires a B.S or B.A. degree in social work, psychology or a related human service field from an accredited college or university. Experience: Experience working with individuals with severe substance use disorders, mental health, and legal history required.
