Sales/Operations Baker Aviation is seeking a Sales/Operations specialist. We operate a fleet of 20+ aircraft (Citation X & CL300) and have a need for a Sales/Operations specialist for our part 135 charter operation. At Baker Aviation, our sales team also handles the operations of their own trips. Our Sales Team Members build strong relationships with brokers and our pilots to ensure smooth execution of all trips. This single point of contact for the broker ensures that our Sales Team Members take ownership of what they sell and that we deliver on what we promise. Job Responsibilities Quote charter flights using Jet Insight • Verify availability of aircraft for date/time/route • Properly set repositioning legs according to policy • Verify trip profit margins comply with company policy • Verify usability departure/arrival airports • Verify departure and arrival times work with previously booked trip • Check fuel prices and adjust quote based on fuel cost where applicable • Add taxes, event fees, pet fees as applicable Follow up on trips previously quoted • Call, email, text brokers for previously quoted trips that fit our availability Assist brokers in booking previously quoted trips • Verify availability, date, time • Request approval to book trip • Send booking link • Ensure trip is booked with valid card hold • Send preliminary trip sheet Manage operational details of trips you booked • Coordinate with broke for all details of the trip • Input pax info into Jet Insight • Input catering info into Jet Insight • Setup Fuel Release for all leg of the trip • Secure PPR’s as needed • Coordinate with FBO as needed to assist crew • Alert crew of newly booked trips or schedule changes • Check schedule fitment and crew duty limitations around your trip • Add pilot notes to trip sheet for all of the above Monitor trips and flight follow • Review any missed quotes in Avinode/Charterpad/Airmail • Review calendar for schedule optimizations Schedule The position primarily entails weekday shifts during standard business hours. However, as a part 135 on-demand operator, responsiveness during all hours is crucial, necessitating availability on weekends. Expect to work at least one weekend day per week to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction. You will always be responsible for the successful execution of your trips. Pay and Benefits Salary - $80,000 - $130,000+ Health Coverage - Baker Aviation pays the entire premium for our healthcare plan. This is a $3,000 per month value for a family plan. 401K - Baker Aviation contributes 3% to your 401K. This is a free contribution from the company, you do not have to contribute any of your pay unless you want to. ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program) - Stacks on top of 401K. No cost to you, 6 year vesting. PTO - 10 days per year - you will be eligible for PTO after 6 months of employment. All PTO must be approved.
