Baillie Lodges and Tierra Hotels—a globally celebrated collection of boutique luxury lodges set in iconic natural and cultural destinations—is seeking a Vice President of Operations Americas. Based in Denver, Colorado, this role is an exciting opportunity to lead a diverse regional portfolio during a pivotal period of growth and innovation. You’ll oversee operations across some of the most spectacular and remote destinations in the Americas: Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge, Vancouver Island (Canada) Tierra Patagonia and Tierra Atacama (Chile)With more to come as we expand across the region Why this role matters: You’ll play a vital role in driving operational excellence, delivering authentic, place-connected guest experiences, and supporting commercial success across our lodges. Key Responsibilities: • Provide hands-on leadership and strategic direction to General Managers across the Americas • Foster a culture of empowerment, communication, inclusion, and people development • Champion operational standards while embracing regional/local differences • Collaborate with Shared Services (Finance, Commercial, HR, Technology) to ensure smooth, high-quality service delivery • Support growth initiatives, property integrations, and development of new assets in the region • Identify and enhance commercial opportunities within each lodge’s unique context • Drive operational innovation in systems, service models, and guest engagement • Travel required: 20–40% annually to support on-the-ground operations and teams About You: • 8–12 years’ leadership experience in high-end hospitality, managing multiple luxury assets across different geographies • Proven background in luxury experiential travel, boutique hotels, or remote destination operations • Deep understanding of and respect for regional cultural nuances • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, collaborative leadership style • Committed to delivering elevated guest experiences while building strong, motivated teams • Brings a strong commercial mindset to maximize revenue opportunities in line with brand values • Embodies a culture of innovation, inclusion, empowerment, and continuous improvement This is more than a corporate role it’s a chance to create something truly special in the world of high-end travel.
