Job Description In this role you will: • Oversee all supply base ramp activities for assigned suppliers. • Manage the execution of subcontracts for funding of suppliers to ensure they can meet BAE Systems delivery rates. • Partner with Supply Chain Planning, General Procurement and Subcontracts to ensure the supply base is well prepared for increases in production rates. • Validate suppliers' current capacity and abilities to meet BAE Systems long term production rates. • Author, manage and influence the creation of long-term pricing agreements with the supply base. • Participate and support Supply Chain Risk Management activities within the PGSS product line. • Support Dual sourcing activities remaining aligned to production programs long term strategies. Required Skills and Education • Ability to travel approximately 10-15% of the time • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study • Experience in Supply Chain Planning, Subcontracts & Supply Chain Management • Strong demonstrated negotiation skills and strategies • Experience in new business capture to include proposals • Experience developing long-term strategies and tactical plans to achieve enterprise objectives. • Successful, proven record of leading and managing multi-discipline project teams • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building, leading through influence, and the ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) at all levels • Ability to develop plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources • Ability to communicate with senior management regarding supply base performance (cost / schedule / resources / risk) as well as performance to financial objectives • Experience communicating externally either with customers or suppliers • Technical and business acumen Preferred Skills and Education • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Operations • Master's Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration • Prior experience in Planning, General Procurement, & Subcontracts. • Experience leading cross-functional teams Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) • Program Management Institute's (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) certification • Demonstrated Risk Management experience • Experience with information systems such as Oracle • Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures with associated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) • Significant experience managing the development and compliance of requirements (SOWs, specifications, contractual terms, etc.) • Strong organizational skills to handle many overlapping projects simultaneously
