Job Description We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support Operations and Quality in the Functional Cost Management team . This position plays an important role in driving sector-wide business decisions to optimize performance, increase efficiency and align with business strategy and objectives. The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for financial support of functional cost and expense budgeting, forecasting and reporting, and analysis within the BAE Systems’ Operations and Quality functions. The position reports to the Director of Functional Cost Management and Government Compliance. This role will be conducted in a full-time remote format , with up to 10% annual travel anticipated. In This Role, You Will • Act as Business Partner to the Operations and Quality functions • Work closely with Leadership teams to establish affordable annual forecasts to support the functions and business needs • Lead team to prepare long and short range forecasts of expense, base, staffing, overhead rates, and capital • Work closely with Functional Cost Management team to develop 5 year Forward Pricing Proposals for use on Government contracts • Lead and direct a team of Finance professionals, inspiring a high-performing team that embodies BAE Systems' behaviors and cultural principles. • Frequent, direct interface with Quality and Operations leaders to support adhoc requests • Recurring presentations to Operations and Quality leadership teams on financial performance as related to utilization, headcount, overhead expenses, and overhead rates • Support the Operations Strategic Finance Director in key initiatives, aligning with the functional strategy and supporting necessary Financial activities Required Education, Experience, & Skills • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related business discipline. • 8+ years of applicable professional experience. • Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions and leadership in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner • Ability to lead and motivate a team of Finance professionals and foster a culture of continuous improvement • Strong interpersonal skills • Proven track record of driving transformational change and improving financial performance • Ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of the organization • Experience with forecasting and analysis • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills • Experience with Hyperion, SmartView, & BI • Understanding of Expenses and Overhead Rates Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $134640 - $228888 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
