Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Control Account Manager (CAM) in Supply Chain in support of the Combat Mission System (CMS) business area within the Platform and Services (P&S) sector. This role requires a subject matter expert (SME) in Earned Value (EV) analysis, capable of driving cost, schedule, and scope performance while ensuring compliance with EV standards. The CAM will collaborate internally with Finance, Scheduling, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to manage baselines, analyze performance, and support program execution. Required Education, Experience, & Skills • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years relevant experience or equivalent experience • The candidate should possess an advanced knowledge level of excel formulas, pivot tables, and lookups. The role requires the ability to utilize data from our systems to perform advanced excel level analysis for reporting purposes. • The candidate should be a SME in Earned Value (EV) Management Analysis. The candidate will be expected to work with the EV Finance and Scheduling Functions to develop and maintain analysis on cost and schedule performance, manage the work scope, and provide variance analysis as needed for the Supply Chain function (weekly and monthly). The candidate is expected to implement and document initial baselines from proposals to award, re-baselines, and estimates to completion (ETCs). • The candidate should be able to read Proposals/Quotes, Purchase Orders, basis of estimate (BOEs) and the manufacturing bill of material (mBOM) to be able to develop cost analysis comparisons. Work with cross-functional teams to identify problems and interpret Supply Chain Organization needs as required. • Interfaces and collaborates with team members, stakeholders and management to anticipate and manage changes to projects and operations, such as, but not limited to, technical requirements, manufacturing needs, and schedule changes. Communicate abnormalities or variances to the project team. Additionally, identify areas of risk, opportunity, and cost saving initiatives affecting project profitability. • Attend and conduct internal Earned Value Management (EVM) surveillances, Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), and support DCMA Surveillance Reviews. Review EVM artifacts such as: Control Account Plans (CAP), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Organizational Breakdown Structures (OBS), Basis of Estimates (BOE), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and Work Authorization Documents (WAM). Act as a liaison between Production and Controls, Program Finance, Scheduling, EV Compliance, Operations Finance, Contracts, and the Supply Chain Organization. • Work with Subcontract Administrators and Buyers to understand linkage between purchase order creation and work breakdown structure (WBS) charging requirements. Additionally, this includes working in conjunction with Accounting for invoice distribution corrections where applicable. Assist all contract cleanup and closeout efforts. • Provide training and mentoring to new and existing personnel in EV Metrics, financial analysis, and understanding EV in a Production environment. Identify areas of improvement, document findings and solutions, and implement process changes with BAE Business Systems Teams. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills • Possess an advanced level of understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) and industry standards and Scheduling • The ability to extract data from Oracle is a key component of this role. • Ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic, complex, fast paced, changing Engineering and manufacturing environments • Experienced project management and organization skills to effectively manage timelines, customer requirements and workflow requirements • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers • Ability to perform effectively and independently with good time management skills with minimal supervision • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically • Strong ability to establish and maintain cross-functional working relationships and networks • Demonstrate sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary, confidential, and classified information • Working knowledge with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) • Certifications including Project Manager Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or similar • Working knowledge of operations, scheduling, and/or Bills of Material (BOMs) within a manufacturing environment • Experience with Deltek’s Open Plan and Cobra, Primavera, and/or PMCompass preferred • Understanding prime contract flow down requirements • Passion for continuous improvement and lean initiatives Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $90373 - $153634 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
