We are seeking a Full-time Truckload Class A Driver to support our Kansas City terminal who has NO restrictions on their license and can drive a Manual Transmission, to handle our NIGHT business. Our ideal team members are individuals who are looking to apply their professional driving skills to a company that values their employees' unique traits and hard work. As a truckload Driver at our Kansas City, KS, terminal, you will make a variety of drop-and-hook, live load/unload, dedicated, and line haul moves. This is a night position running Monday-Friday. Your hourly wage is paid for all on-duty hours. Job Description: These activities include, but are not be limited to: • Safely operate tandem axle semi trucks and 53' vans • Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment • Communicate effectively with B&H customers and other B&H employees • Provide a high level of attention to detail • Maintain compliance with all DOT rules and regulations to operate a CMV • Work with a dispatcher to plan and execute routes • Wait at customer docks to be loaded/unloaded Requirements Must have: • Ability to report to the Kansas City, KS, terminal at the scheduled start time • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen • Willingness to undergo PSP and MVR driving record checks Required skills: • Attention to detail • Ability to communicate and thrive in a team atmosphere • Safe and compliant driving habits Benefits • Hourly pay with overtime after 45 hours • Small company atmosphere and flexibility • Home daily • No weekend work • Paid training • Minimum to no overtime • Paid Time Off • Health, Dental, and Vision benefit plans available Schedule: • Monday - Friday • Start time 5 or 6p you pick License/Certification: • Class A CDL with 2 (two) years of verifiable driving experience • Hazmat, Doubles/Triples, and Tanker endorsements (B&H can help with obtaining these) Experience: • 2 (two) years of verifiable CDL driving experience • Backing and docking tractor-trailers • Customer service E04JI802r4dp4088tcj
