Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician I, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing B. Braun's medical equipment at client sites. Your expertise will ensure that our devices operate safely and efficiently, supporting healthcare providers in delivering exceptional patient care. What You'll Do: - You will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment at various healthcare facilities. - You will troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to minimize equipment downtime. - You will conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal device performance. - You will document service activities accurately and maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance. - You will collaborate with the technical support team to escalate complex issues and implement solutions. - You will provide training and support to healthcare staff on proper equipment usage and safety protocols. - You will adhere to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements during all service activities. What You Bring: - You have at least 1-2 years of experience in field service or technical support, preferably in the medical device industry. - You possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - You have excellent communication and customer service abilities. - You are comfortable working independently and managing your schedule effectively. - You hold a valid driver’s license and are willing to travel to client locations within the assigned territory. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with B. Braun medical equipment or similar healthcare technology. - Technical certifications related to electronics, biomedical equipment, or field service. - Familiarity with regulatory standards such as FDA and ISO applicable to medical devices. - Additional language skills to support diverse client needs.
