Manage care planning and compliance for residents with dementia, oversee staff and operations, and serve as primary family contact.
Experience in dementia or elder care, knowledge of healthcare regulations, personnel management skills, and ability to coordinate care services.
The Assistant Executive Director is responsible for providing professional and quality person centered care for residents with Alzheimer?s disease and other types of Dementia to promote their highest well-being. The Assistant Executive Director is also responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations at all times. Administrative and Operations Management • Ensures compliance with state community based residential facility regulations and Azura policies Care Planning Assessment and Implementation • Monitor the health and emotional conditions of each resident • Work with nursing staff and aides to ensure resident medical needs are met including med passing, proper hydration and toileting, bathing, and laundry • Perform assessment of new residents; admit and discharge residents according to admissions criteria • Complete individual care plans for each resident with interdisciplinary team and ensure service delivery according to individual residents? needs Personnel Management • Maintain master staffing schedule and find replacements for staff call-in?s • Lead by example, encourage teamwork, and provide coaching and supervision to employees.
