Position: Catering Manager | Full Time Job Summary: We are looking for a Catering Manager to join our hotel team, where hospitality is more than service, it’s about creating meaningful connections. Our property features a full-service restaurant and beautiful banquet spaces that host weddings, meetings, and special events. The Catering Manager oversees all aspects of catering and banquet operations within the hotel, including weddings, social gatherings, and corporate events. This role bridges the sales, culinary, restaurant, and banquet service teams to ensure immaculate execution of events that reflect the hotel’s commitment to hospitality, quality, and guest satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Partner with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life with care and attention to detail. • Coordinate weddings, banquets, and corporate events in collaboration with our culinary, banquet, and restaurant teams. • Supervise and support catering and banquet staff. • Serve as the Manager-on-Duty (MOD) in the absence of the Food & Beverage Manager. • Monitor budgets, manage event costs, and help drive catering revenue. • Act as the on-site liaison during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly and guests feel cared for. • Maintain guest confidentiality. • Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to Company Core Values and Mission Statement. • Responsible for working in a safe and conscientious manner • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Experience: • 3+ years of catering, banquet, or event management experience (hotel or resort preferred). • Strong communication and relationship-building skills. • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple events at once. • Knowledge of event management software (Opera is a plus).
